Awesome! Love that you caught one on foot. There's something special about fishing on foot. A skiff is fun and necessary, but it's an extra layer of distance from nature. Congrats and save that fly!

Life is good down in Belize. Overall the fishing was slow with conditions we had the few days I could hit the water (clouds and sargassum) last week, but got into this nice migratory poon. We taped her out at 122 lbs (39 girth, 64 length to the fork).

Saw fish, fought fish, caught fish.

Had the pleasure of guiding a fellow Ag c/o '05 and another great guy at this year's Borracho Pescador. Cool part is the Ag's son (13 years old) is the one who encouraged him to pick up saltwater fly fishing. His son also ties and does custom orders. We landed one of our first reds of the day on his son's fly. Pretty awesome stuff!
