Me and a buddy are wanting to hunt a new place this year instead of Southeast Texas. Kinda thinking Missouri, Oklahoma or Arkansas… Any recommendations of outfitters?

Not a lot of help but Id skip right past Arkansas. It's become the tourist trap of duck hunting. The places that are available are going to be questionable. And the good places are booked. I have some buddies that go to Slicks and have a good experience. But it's $1100 a day per gun, with a waiting list.

Or go on a airboat cast and blast in Rockport. I have tried all the rest including Missouri most recently. All sucks compared to these trips I mentioned

Redleg Outfitters in Paris is solid outfit.
Jack Creek Outfitters in Lawton Ok is pretty good outfit.

I went to Canada with them the last few years and do a couple hunts with them each season been going with them since 2016. He does good job on putting you on birds. Mother nature has thrown a wrench in some of our hunts but they still have good operation and we will continue to go with him every year.

Hunted in January with Fowl Plains in Grett Bend, KS. Excellent outfit, nice lodge, first class chef.

C'mon up and hunt Bayou Metro. No crowds, quick limits, and loads of common courtesy and good ol southern hospitality.

I'd also recommend OK or KS.

Missouri has a 4 mallard limit if that matters

Oklahoma will cost ya about $250 license KS half that
