Thousands of high flying pintail with no interest. Not much for other species in my area.

Hunted Baffin this weekend. Pretty slow. Shot our limit of bluebill and pintail each day. Had the luxury of being out to pick out the pintail drakes, never seen this many in a weekend. Only two reds on the weekend. Pretty slow and disappointing after it was all said and done, but always enjoy getting to go out.

Snagged a couple green heads on public yesterday. Tough season but my 1.5 year old draht loved every minute of it.

My 11 year old finished his second season of duck hunting this morning. Managed a couple at least. Should have had a couple of more but that's duck hunting for you. Kid absolutely loves duck hunting and is obsessed with it. It's fun watching him be so passionate about it.

Yep. Used to slay the divers at Toledo Bend with it. From what I've seen in recent years, it wouldn't even be worth messing with.

Did a legal roost in the rain this afternoon. Last year was almost entirely green wings. This year, if it weren't for woody's, we wouldn't have had much of a season. Kinda hoping we get some answers on what's going on with overall populations and maybe some needed management changes for next year.
