I am not sure why I didn't think of this before, but I bet the outdoor board would great for this. I'm not a gun person really, but I do need to find some kind of ballpark on the value on as many of these as I can. The only thing I do understand is, I know it's difficult to value guns that hardly ever get sold.

So here's the list, it includes 8 bb guns which I doubt matter. Again, I know nothing about these so even if you know which are rare that's something.

We don't have possession of them anyway, which of course, is the problem. Even if we do eventually get them, I don't imagine our son wants to sell any.

I do have pictures, but I'm not posting all those.

The ones that are going to be the hardest to get any value for are the commemorative style guns. Those typically aren't super sought after and it takes the right collector to want them, so value is pretty subjective.

Most everything there you can find on Gunbroker and go back and look at sale prices to get a good range. The commemorative ones I'd put at 50% of useable gun value personally.

The thing that will change some of them significantly will be getting manufacturer dates, especially with some of the rifles. Pre-64 Winchesters are more sought after than post 64 models.

Gunbroker solds should be pretty reliable for values on the ones that are fairly common and/or very specific (i.e. the commemorative 94s), you used to be able to query completed auctions for free, you just had to create an account and log in. The ones I'd take to an appraiser would be the LC Smiths and the fox&sterlingworth (edit:also the diamond grade skeet and the WC Scott but only because I've never heard of either) . The ones I'm most jealous of (besides the LC Smiths) are the miroku daly and the SKBs.
The one I'm most curious about is the nwtf 1100. But not that kind of curious

LC Smith stock condition might figure in value-wise as well (have a history of cracking)

Gunbroker sales are 90% dealers.
For common new guns that every dealer sells you can reference them for retail price variations.
Rock Island Auctions, Gunrunner, GOA, and GI are good references as well. Bluebook of Gun Values and in some instances Standard Catalog of Firearms, are good to help identify particular firearms.

Ya. Those have more collectible value I think than anything else.

Briley has a set of the Remington 1100 Sam Walton for sale. I think they are $3k for the set. I think same set but not positive. Check their website.

A couple of the shotguns you will need more information. Lots of different versions of the Citori. And barrel length matters for over/unders.

The guns are part of the estate. A family member has taken them (who is only a beneficiary). We have a few ways we could go for the next move.

Good advice. I can't take the guns anywhere since we don't have them, but I'll get that subscription and see what I can find.

My uneducated ballpark guess is anywhere from 70-120k. I pulled that out of my ass, like most things.

Whoever the executor is should be working with an attorney. They can draft a letter and straighten that out pretty quick.

I would be willing to help you with your endeavor. I have sold items on GunBroker. It just takes time to take professional pictures and research each gun for proper descriptions. Not that hard, but time consuming. I can walk you through the process if you're interested.

You have a bunch of super nice collectible guns in there. Someone had good taste. There are few potentially higher value shotguns depending upon condition.

Rock Island Auction Company just moved to Bedford. Many of those guns could likely be auctioned off for best price. They have consignment appraisers.

There are other auction houses around the country.

Personally I would be interested in the LC Smith 410.
