What if it's classified as a machine gun?

The answer is yes, but it's hard to answer that question with the information you posted. Is this a historic weapon? Was it brought back and just discovered? Are you sure it's a machine gun?

Shut your mouth and have staff delete the thread is the best option. Pass on to kid that can do the 1st 3 words.

I think the last amnesty to register was in 1968. I'm assuming you're asking about a hypothetical. In this hypothetical situation, it would be best for the possessor to keep its existence a closely guarded secret or dispose of it discreetly. Possession could result in 10 years in Federal PMITA prison and a destroyed life. Unbelievably ridiculous and unAmerican regulations, but that is reality and the Feds are ruthless!

I concur.

I can't say what OP should or shouldn't do with rifles that are brought back from certain places that May or may not be machine guns but I can tell you what I would do, and that is keep my pie hole shut.
