I am putting out my feelers looking for a hunting lease opportunity. I'm looking for a place withing about 150-200 miles from San Antonio. My budget is approximately $3000-$5000 for an annual lease. Looking for a property that I can invest in long term. Ideally I am looking for a place that I would be able to bring my dog (he's a boykin spaniel) he get in deer blinds with me, and bird hunts with me. Opportunity for exotics or turkey would be preferred. Availability to bring a guest on occasion (father, brother, father-in law, wife, etc.) I am open to discuss any opportunities coming up, and give additional information for my goals or my background. You're going to be looking to find a group. It will be very very hard to find a quality place for a single person and guest unless you're paying a ridiculous amount per acre

Edit to add: Ozona will be about 200 miles due west on 10 the entire way for you. I'd start looking around there since that's an easy drive that's 80mph most of the way

I can either go in as a single or with a group. just looking for a good fit.

I've had terrible luck with HLBRO. Lots of paywalls to get info and then don't seem to follow up or it's already leased.

Has anyone had luck with Hunting Locator? Really feeling the pressue to find a place to start taking my young sons.
