There is another Aggie on the OP called Catalina18.
Web site is snakemountainlabs.com. Located just outside College Station. 979-218-0858.

I hunted with some folks this year that had dogs from them. They highly recommended them.

Might check them out also.

Chance Morehouse with Timber Creek Kennels in Lufkin just had a litter and may have a pup available. Nice breeding. Black lab. They have a Facebook page.

I had a dealer in Lufkin that has always got his dogs from Mr. Morehouse. I did not remember that till seeing your post. I know he swears by them and he is an older gentleman that has had labs all his life.

My aunt is an English Lab breeder in north Texas. I'm not sure if she has any puppies or litters coming up but she usually has 10-20 running around the place. They aren't cheap, but that's because her litters always come from her show champions. Let me know if you are interested and I'll get you her contact info.

Since you are in Lufkin, check out Soggy Bottom Retrievers in Huntington. We got out latest girl from them in July- she is an English Lab and she is a beaut. If I knew how to post pictures on here I would post some pictures. She is a water loving rascal.

OK, your friend is in Lufkin. Their website shows the dogs they breed and their pedigrees. They have yellows and blacks- ours is yellow, almost white.

2nd this. We got our chocolate lab male from them and he has the strongest retrieval instinct I have ever seen. And right down the road in Huntington. They will ask you to sign an agreement that you won't breed your dog for sale of puppies which we had no intention of doing so wasn't an issue

Here's my Agvet13 pup. That rooster has 24" tail feather. Her first hunting season was a blast. Might have to get into waterfowl as she's a damn natural and pheasant season is too short.

We have a couple litters planned this spring. Does your friend have a color or sex preference? I am located west of Austin but all parents are extensively health tested and have excellent hunting pedigrees.

Not the OP but I'm also interested. I'm in dripping springs and looking for a yellow female in the next year or so to join Maggie the Aggie (seen below).

Difference is, I'm not looking for a hunter. We are looking for a great family dog who has the temperament to be a therapy dog with the right training (we'd like to take her to the Dell Children's hospital).

I've had two girl dogs from Danny Littlejohn at Moccasin Creek. Both descended from championship hunters and I turned them both into well bred pool floats and couch hounds. Wouldn't change a thing!
