Has anybody ever gone to the tracks in Kentucky? We are potentially going to do the whisky trails for my brother's bachelor party and were wondering if there are any places that hold races in July or do they all end in June? Do they do suites for big parties with booze and food like you can at baseball games? Any other suggestions or pointers would be much appreciated!

You won't find anything in July at Churchill Downs or Keeneland.

Keeneland runs April and October.

If you have the choice, go to Keeneland instead of Churchill downs. Churchill is famous because of the Derby. Keeneland is a much nicer experience (men are expected to wear sports coats). Also, Lexington is really nice and closer to the bourbon trail.

Churchill Downs outside of the Derby is still a great racing experience.
