I bought these as well. Easy to mold and work well for $30. I bought two pairs one for the range bag and one for the mower

It's been discussed on the OB that Otologist have cautioned folks on custom plugs as your ear canal is basically all cartilage and can change in dimensions from hour to hour-day to day due to the amount of water in your system. This will cause a custom plug molded to your ear one day to not fit the same on another day and could not give you the same amount protection.

Yes sir. I had sensorineural hearing loss back in 2004 with an onset of severe tinnitus in both ears. After quite a journey through multiple ENT's with no success I was finally referred to a Otologist/Neurologist.
Trying to preserve what hearing I have left, I listen to, and follow what he tells me to do to accomplish that very closely.
Don't know if that's what the question was?

I get it. It was just the wording that was sort of, well, odd. I was making fun of that (the wording), but hearing loss is no joke.

Mine isn't as severe a loss as your's, but it is there. Too much gunfire without protection when I was younger (stupid) added to drumming and rocking out for all these years. I didn't turn the speakers (or headphone volume) up as much as the next guy way back when, but it was loud. Numerous door knocks at my apartment when I was at A&M. I had a Radio Shack stereo unit with decent speakers that could rock the place. That was actually when I started getting educated on the best earphones. I've had Shures, Sennheisers, and Sonys (as well as a few other brands) now for decades.

Yes sir. Some of my loss was from not wearing hearing protection from shooting as a kid …. But most was from too many hours sitting 24" from open exhaust on a racing outboard running on high octane fuel.
Now I where hearing protection for just about any noise

Followed this post as I've been hunting with some Howard L. over the ear muffs. Work well but when you are trying to wear a hoodie it ain't the easiest due to the bulkiness of the ear muffs. Saw a 50% off sale on the ear buds and from some recommendations on here decided to purchase. https://goaxil.com
Went with the GS Extreme 2.0.
Decent deal right now at 50% off and a 30 day money back guarantee.
