Where to sell used horse saddles?

I won 4 horse saddles at auction and looking to sell them.

Three are Tucker T59 Endurance. One 2009 17.5", one 2016 17.5", and one 2008 15.5". https://tuckersaddlery.com/saddles/trail-saddles/endurance-trail-saddles/t59-endurance

The 4th is a 2008 Tucker T49 River Plantation Endurance, 17.5". https://tuckersaddlery.com/saddles/trail-saddles/endurance-trail-saddles/t49-equitation-endurance

I visited South Texas Tack in Brenham to see if they would be interested in consignment, but they said not many of their customers are looking for a saddle without a horn and that it would likely sit.

I've noticed some people sell on ebay. I guess this is the best route?

Slade's Saddle Shop in (formerly in Luling) Prairie Lea, Texas sells on consignment. Might reach out to them.

D&D Farm and Ranch (Now Murdocks) in Seguine used to sell saddles on consignment. I don't know if they still do or not.

My wife bought an English saddle off FB marketplace. She also found a horse trailer that we ended up buying on there.

I don't know why, but I have found that women outnumber men 10 to 1 in the equestrian field. I don't use FB Marketplace for anything, but many women prefer it.

There's a few FB groups out there that look like you can sell trail saddles in. The two that look like get the most traffic are (Texas Trail Riding Girls), (Trail riding, Horse camping, tack, goods & services) That's how I'd go about selling them.

Those are pretty niche saddles. So most western stores wouldn't put them on consignment. The two that I can think off of the top of my head that might are Paul Taylors in Pilot Point and Teskey's in Weatherford. I know I've seen those places carry them in the past.

The men are all working 3 jobs to pay for their wive's hobby. They don't have time to ride.
The last thing I want to do is hurt you. But, it's still on the list.

Women used to ride side saddle. Not to many rode then.
Then woman sitting straddle the saddle was considered ok. Now lots of women like to ride. Hmph.

Unfortunately, Murdochs did away with the saddles and lots of the tack that D&D used to stock.

Pretty generic offerings now, decent selection of ropes but aside from that not much more than a Tractor Supply would stock.

Worse than that for me is they also gutted the welding supplies. Went in last week to get some of the heavy duty weld on gate hinges and latches I have always bought there and they no longer had them.

I get a big chuckle out of people that think that boats are expensive. I just paid the vet bill this morning.

Facebook marketplace, Laura's Saddlery in Tomball will take consignments and has a second Saturday saddle swap each month; and the Elite Auctions in Navasota has a saddle auction before the horse sale last Saturday of the month.

Western Suppliers in Pilot Point is owned and operated by Travis Teskey (brother to other Teskey) and takes saddles on consignment. Good guy as well.
