This is why I don't really trust anyone from Premium or any other board for that matter. Too many folks on there and obviously a lot of really weird and even bad folks.

This board? Much smaller and we're all weird, but no one is really bad. If they are, they get outed before too long.

Aggie therapist stated a sign off post on behalf of Legalize-it-ag requesting prayers. Come to find out he's got some big probs ahead. He got married at 7am this morning before heading off to the prison for a 14 year bid after accepting a plea deal for attempted cap murder of his EX wife or girlfriend, can't remember. HE got on thread and did his dear diary post to all family and friends prior to the above came out. Either way, not a good situation, but probably should have never been put on TexAgs by aggietherapist to begin with.

edit to add,, i'm not judging him, nor anyone, and I could have missed some details, but that was the overview at least. Believe the charge was for choking her.

-A poster starts a thread saying LIA needs prayers
-LIA makes a long post that's basically a farewell letter and thanks his family, son who he says he hasn't seen in 16 months, all the TexAgs crew, etc. It was weird. Posters started questioning the situation because of the kid among other things
-LIA new wife posts under his name thanking everyone and says he's been dealing with a crazy ex wife. Says they got married at 7am today. People really start digging
-Turns out LIA took a plea deal and is going to prison for 14 years for strangling his ex wife.

Now it is about to be locked and folks want to change his username to "Choke Artist"

I was bored last night so I started doing some research on the guy. Knew after reading the post asking for t&p's without any details about what was going on followed by his new wife posting for him that something was up. So after some internet sleuthing, found out what actually happened and was shocked to find out it happened in the same town I live in. Dude has failed to acknowledge he f'ed up. Instead his ex-wife is labeled toxic. He definitely had people fooled.

I had a good friend who went bat chit crazy during/ after a divorce. This thread doesn't surprise me. Especially with a kid involved.
Luckily, he eventually got remarried to a girl even crazier than his first wife. I very rarely see him anymore as friends in our group are still friends with his ex. Just really a strange deal.

Would like to know if this guys ex had any lasting physical injuries from being choked, or if this was a gotcha prosecution.

A gotcha on an attempted capital murder conviction. You people… that means he was already committing a crime when he was choking her badly enough that a jury of his peers convicted him of trying to kill her. Lasting injuries… stupid.
