We're a little early for whitetail sheds but scored probably my favorite shed this weekend. I had a good feeling it was close to this feeder but wasn't sure. These are free range:



30 mins later, missing one antler:



Pulled up to pen on Saturday:











I've had some cool matching set of whitetail antlers and some really good axis sheds but this thing was pretty dang cool! Hoping to find the other one next time I am out and have time to look longer.

They showed up in late 2019 but consistently have been on camera since 2020. We've always had a transient elk or two but the stag have essentially lived on the property for the last 5 years. We're up to 6-7 stag and over 10 hinds, if not more.

They're very skittish and barely seen in person… we're hoping we can start shooting 1-2 stag a year with our numbers.

Biggest 8 point on my place dropped his already but every other buck coming to my feeder still has theirs. Motley County in the panhandle.

No shed hunting here until after some major snow melt, but I do have my 9 year old excited to adventure into the back country.

I found this set almost 2 weeks ago but I kind of cheated. We were netting red deer and this guy's antlers fell off with the first net. Bigger whitetail antlers are definitely falling off though. We saw several deer with fresh drops during aerial surveys in early February through last week.
