There are plenty of posts on here over time asking for suggestions for good screens to block the view of neighbors, etc.

I stumbled across this video and it made me think of those.



Jerusalem artichokes can apparently be easily grown perennially (with some help) and will make 10' tall screens where planted. And they are prolific crop. The tubers supposedly taste like globe artichokes, if you like those, as a bonus!

[edit] they die back in winter, so they're only effective as a screen for half the year. but they grow fast, so for a quick, temporary screen in spring-to-fall, they might serve your purpose
