Sheriff just said no update on the 23-25 missing campers.

I'm sure there are still a lot of people unaccounted for and not included in that 25 total

I am late to this thread, but my fervent prayers have been rising since this morning. Thanks to all who have come together here to share information and to lift one another spiritually through empathy, love, and prayer.

I feel a great affinity toward you, Derm, though I am unknown to you. I pray for St. Jude to intercede with our Lord Jesus on behalf of your great niece and all others placed in peril by this catastrophe, that they may be safely returned to their families.

Let us all pray together, "Jesus, I trust in you."

I think these officials speaking are doing well. This is a brutal situation.

We have one of the best disaster response capabilities in the country, lead by incredible people.

Things are chaotic. "Missing" reports are coming from many directions. Lines of communication are sporadic. Search and rescue are doing their best but have a lot of moving parts in a treacherous environment with a lot of sadness.

There are also many different agencies operating here, all reporting to the state, and they might be sharing different counts based on their best information.

It's the right thing then for the state to give a range. They don't want to offer false hope or false alarm and a range reflects the uncertainty and chaos on the ground.

One of the wild cards is other families around there or adults who may have tried to intervene to help and end up lost.

I heard the Eastland son, son of the owners, has been found safe. This was first hand from a cousin.

Continuing to hold out hope and pray for those impacted, and those risking themselves to find those still in danger.

My grandchildren (9, 7, and 5) are spending the night with me and the older two boys who know what is happening, are asking about how you rescue someone and are very, very upset about Wynne. She lives 3 houses down from them. They don't want her to be afraid in the dark and are afraid she is alone. Explaining this is horrible and the darker it gets, the more upset we all are. I just put them to bed and we lifted prayers for Wynne and Dermdoc's Mary Grace, and all the others. It made me so sad when they were happy to see that Aggies are helping with search and rescue as we are holding on to faith and hope.

Please keep lifting prayers.

My heart hurts so much in this situation that I can barely put together coherent thoughts or prayers.

I'm reminded of Romans 8:26, that the Spirit intercedes when words fail us. Praying for all of the missing, and especially those sweet girls and their families; especially Derm and AviationAg.

I did! I told them that it can even be easier at night because of heat signatures. That was a good distraction as they then wanted to understand the technologies.

Keep praying this is not new. These girls were found many hours ago.
