Find someone or an organization you can coordinate with.

Man God Bless those counselors. I assume they are just teenaged kids and they're out there saving kids. Given an impossible task and it sounds like a lot stepped up massively. I hope someone like Mattress Mack comes in and gives them scholarships to college or something for their bravery.

Yea I decided to heed this advice. It sounds like they're being inundated with people wanting to help and have asked for everyone to stay off the roads.

I feel so bad for the parents. My nephew and niece are driving there and basically know no more than we do.

My daughter is at Kickapoo right now. We were supposed to pick up today but asked not to come due to this very reason. The camp is safe but my stomach is just in knots right now.

I will pray for her and the others mentioned.

Am grateful to be high and dry far from the river and so grateful my granddaughter's camp is in good shape (was supposed to go out this evening for end of camp night).

We wer dropping off my daughter at Sierra Vista on Monday for her last year at camp. Vista is just minutes from Mystic and the tragedy would have been worse if Vista was not between sessions. They released yesterday and were supposed to open again Monday. I'm so thankful my daughter wasn't there.

The mood this morning in my house was akin to the senior baseball/softball kids in 2020 losing their last season to COVID. But now that the entire tragedy has come into scope she is as sad as the rest of us.

Praying for those kids.

Our friends daughter is still missing. Got word that one girl from her cabin was found ten miles down river on a mattress. Praying their sweet girl will be found safe. Our little town is in knots waiting

Found out my son has two classmates who were at one of the camps.

One was found 5 miles downriver floating on a mattress, the other is still unaccounted for at this time.

The one who is unaccounted for lost her Father this year suddenly. Just horrific.

During the next press conference, listen to the City of Kerrville City Manager. He has his act together.

The Mayor of Kerrville is a life time Kerrvillian. The news he has has made it something too emotional for him -at least at this time.

Camp Mystic campers are being helicoptered, a few at a time, into Ingram MS or HS at this time.
