God is good all of the time. What a relief for you and your wife.

The husband and I have been sad all afternoon. We contemplated hiring a dog sitter and heading that way to help somehow. But we don't want to be in the way.

I used to work at Mystic 30 years ago. I can't imagine how much water it would take to wash away a cabin from the Flats.

I'm so thankful for each and every first responder out there....the rescuers, the pilots, the doctors, nurses, people providing aid, LEO's....the whole lot of them. Do not fail to be thankful for their efforts as every saved life is due to their training and perseverance of these amazing people. Those guys are rock stars.
