I cant count the amount of prayers I've sent up.

The sun is setting on the first day since that morning of the 4th, that Wynne's family and friends know exactly where she is.

After trying to console my grandsons about Wynne being out in the dark, where they were so concerned she would be alone and afraid, after hours of agonizing, many tears and worried sobbing, after 4 young fathers drove to Kerrville and drove around all day taking her picture from site to site to try to find her while consoling a young mother and father, there is certainity.

I do know that her parents were able to see her after they were told. I cannot imagine the horror of the last few days and the agony they are facing going forward, but tonight we will go to bed knowing definitively where she is.

God Bless little Wynne as she sits in Heaven with Jesus.

I pretty much sunk after the earlier story was corrected. What a tragic event, I have to stop following. Floods happen but I hope a better way is found to protect life in the hill country waterways.

I said this to my wife earlier today about the interview with the man looking for his daughter. The media doesn't give a **** about any of these people. They are just attention seeking *****s.
Don't give them clicks or views. Give victims and families or first responders involved the space they need. If they want to divulge info or details later then more power to them. Have some compassion for God's sake.

I am been stuck on this page refreshing for days, praying for positive news. But I know no matter what, Jesus is present.

I pray for the peace and grace of our Lord to rain down upon the families of everyone involved including all the courageous first responders.

After my sister(Mary Grace's grandmother) died from cancer, I moved into my bil house for three years because he wanted company. Mary Grace was always there it seemed talking about her uncle Eddie (me). She kept us sane after losing my sister and was kind of like the continuation.

And I know every precious person who died in the flood have similar stories.

The media will absolutely hound any phone number they can get, which is unfortunate because so many of the phone numbers connected to the missing children were posted early during the crisis.

If you're ever involved in something like this:

• Make all of your social media accounts private. Ask your friends not to speak to any media organization on your behalf or give out any of your information.
• Appoint a non-direct family member or trusted friend to be your authorized contact, give them a written statement to deliver, and send any incoming requests to that person
• The really hard part: do this with almost everyone, not just media. Reporters will go to pastors, sports team coaches, anyone they can piece together from social media looking for a quote
• If and when you are willing to answer questions, make sure to record whatever conversation you have with media organizations

Also, we should fully expect that the media will find this thread and source it for quotes.
