Just found this, does this mean my oak tree is dying? ......
The Gray-winged Neoclyt-Borer is a harmless longhorned beetle (family Cerambycidae) with the scientific name Neoclytus scutellaris. It is a native of the Eastern United States, primarily feeding on dead or dying oak and hickory trees, and is a common sight at syrup traps and fluorescent lights. This beetle does not bite or sting, and its larvae can be found in firewood, but they do not damage structural wood or healthy trees.
