Does this gas look bad based on the yellowish color?

I'm troubleshooting some carburetor problems on my 4wheeler and had to drain the gas tank. This is supposed to be ethanol free gas. I have a terrible sense of smell for this kind of thing but thought it should be more clear/light blue in color?

Could that color be from rust in the tank?

When in doubt, flush out the tank and use fresh fuel.

My $.02 from experience. Nothing more.

Tank is black plastic so rust shouldn't be an issue

I'd say light yellow is the closest color I would go with for what gasoline looks like when I've seen it in a clear container. Color wise I wouldn't say yours is far off what it should be. Might be a little darker, but could be any of a number of reasons for color variation when you bought it I imagine.

Had an issue with the auto choke on my lawn mower so I would pour a small amount of gas into a clear cup to pour into the air intake before pull starting. Just replaced the carb and auto choke. Was lazy for about two years so I got a good look at what color ethanol free gas is.

"Gas" in the carburetor, huh?
Nice try, Danny.

AvGas is light blue. If you're running that your spark plug is fouled with lead!

I drain it....then burn it back with good gas 5 to 10 gal of good to one gal of old. Not to save money but so I dont pour it on the ground.

I burn it in my BMW and my two boat outboard motors (2006 Etec 250 and 2021 Suzuki 300) and in my 35hp zero turn.

Bought a boat with 60 plus gallons of old gas so I am still burning thru that....

I purchase nothing but ethanol free gas. In our area it has a definite yellowish tint right out of the pump. When I use my white 5 gal VP Racing jugs. I can easily see the yellow tint.

Beamer, two boats and a zero turn? You must be a guide.

Had you included bro truck, Florida guide.

I'd say that's crossing into selfish teammate territory.
