The water and ice business took a nice turn this fall with a bunch of upcoming work. I'm looking for about 10 ice merchandisers over the next month.

If you have one / some or know where some are available, please post there here. I am scouring all over texas, oklahoma and louisiana for them right now.

Thought any about doing a system like Everest on-demand?

Maybe not viable if potable water isn't available? But I've had a mind to buy several Everest systems for TARs at refineries, etc.

I've wanted to buy some "shut-down" trailers that are an all in one system, but i just keep running into power and water source issues.

im trying to push customers to use freezer containers, but what I find is all the containers run off 3-phase power and the customer is not willing to set-up or cannot set-up that kind of power for me.

Makes sense.

Maybe it's another vertical for non-remote opportunities?

on the to-do list. ive reached the point where I need to hire someone to manage the day to day so I can spend the time needed on new markets / opportunities.

I thought that was where they hold those that voluntarily deport.

Seriously, you might give Stahr Ice in Marble Falls a call. He may have extras to sell or at least rent to you. He's saved my skin twice when my walkin freezer went down. Good guy.

Surplus military diesel generators are probably the best option there. Could be possible if you get to the self contained setup to augment with solar / battery to cut down on run time.

Water source is hard to be worked around other than tanks and tankers. Atmospheric water generators or catching the condensation from the refrigeration units are an option, but less than ideal for potable / taste.

the issue with generators is - time. and by time, I mean I will need to service them regularly / fuel them regularly. time I just dont have to do. for now, trailers are a drop-off and forget about solution, which helps with my time issue.
