Howdy, a hinge on one of our cabinet doors broke last night. I need the infinite wisdom of OB to help me ID the hinge and where to get a new one. Also any tips/tricks involved in replacing a hinge. Any special measurements or specs that are required? Please, help!!!

69 day before yesterday. Fairly old myself!

Use a screw driver and not a drill. There will be instructions on how to level the door when you buy the hinge. Very easy to replace.

Have seen those at Home Depot. Brace your door so it doesn't mess up your other hinge, take off the offending suspect so you can take it to HD and match it . Go back in the same holes if they're not stripped out, and you won't have to worry about the old hinge outline showing up.

This. Just had the exact same thing happen. Line up the holes, make sure the new latch isn't too big. Easy peasy.
