I tried calling the police. After a 45 minute hold, I was told I had to go in person to report it. We are back in College Station where we live now. Going to try again tomorrow.

Or just write your own report on a piece of notebook paper and flush it down the toilet. Same outcome.

I put the plate in the original post. That's why I came to Outdoor. I was hoping someone could give me their info so I can hopefully have ICE deal with them. That seems more likely than Harris County police doing anything.

If you had jumped out of your car and laid on the ground while yelling "My neck! My back! My neck AND my back!" then called 911 the cops would've showed up and you could also get some free money from that guys insurance company.

Anyway, your insurance adjuster can run the guys plate and find his insurance company to deal with them. They may require a police report though.

Why didn't you follow him? Maybe he would have pulled over soon to exchange info when he learned you had the video.

Send the plate to the carrier with the video. This is easy peasy. Let them do their job. File a report over the phone. There is ZERO reason it has to be in person. I'm not driving to Houston if I'm you. Tell the carrier the same. But either way, it's hit and run and that's the insurance guys problem to deal with. That's why you pay them and you probably pay a lot like everyone else.

Then get your car fixed and deal with the next problem life throws at you.

At this point, the only option is to fire a propane cannon off that is placed near the offender's property line.
