Any suggestions for a filtration system, without having to drill a hole in my stock tank?

I built a stock tank pool for the kids this summer out of a 10 foot poly tank. I just drilled the holes but did stumble across some no drill options on YouTube while I was researching it.

I'll see if I can find it again.

The pipes can go up and over the side if you don't want to drill through the side.

Most of the stock tanks come with a drain hole. You could use that hole for the suction and then run a hose with a clamp over the side of the pool for the discharge side.

We put the piping over the side and installed a water fall we bought off Amazon. Fancy I know.

For those of you that have a cowboy pool, did y'all go with the bottomless galvanized ring and a poly liner or just use a 10' traditional tank? With a regular galvanized tank does the water get too hot in Aug/Sept? If you used a liner how deep does it run? TIA
