Pretty sure the anker has a built in fan for cooling but not 100%

They also make battery conversion kits for rigid, dewalt, Ryobi, etc that last a long time if you have the high Ah ones. Buddy of mine has same setup but on Milwaukee battery.

Data usage from my Starlink app for reference purposes. Turned it on for the month (50Gb plan) and drove ~18 hours round trip from DFW to Starbase and back. Both kids streaming something most of the way, the wife surfing on her phone, and Google Maps on my phone the whole way. All in used ~29Gb.

The big difference between the $50 & $165 plans is data priority. If you're in an area with a ton of receivers (major metro areas and close by) and need to maintain business like speeds for large data sets, then the unlimited plan makes sense. If you just need high speed data for streaming/video calls, especially in remote areas with few users, then you're paying the same price on either plan up to 165Gb. Just opt in to the $1/Gb overage fees and monitor your use in the app.

Looking at starlink for the lease, to watch games during the day and at night. Issue I worry about is when the 4 nieces/daughters go hunting with us and social media bogs down the system. Hope starlink comes with military grade encrypted wifi passwords.

I can assure that if you with the actual home unit and not the mini, it will have zero problems. 7-8 guys on WiFi + streaming TV and it's never once even hinted at lagging.

I've only run 2-3 people off the mini at once and that was just with cell phones.

The mini will handle that as well. My data usage above is all going 80mph down the highway with less than ideal dish orientation streaming 2 movies and 2 cell phones both doing work. Zero hiccups. This wasn't even an option 2 years ago. The network gets better 3 times a week with more launches, and software updates every time I turn it on.

If you require absolute performance out of either it really does make a difference to use the orientation feature in the app. Very easy.

I missed an opportunity on a huge buck bowhunting several years ago watching an Aggie game on my phone. One ear bud connected to phone. He walked the trail that ran right by my setup and I didn't see him until he was about 65 yards away. Wasn't going to attempt that shot and the angle was wrong. Haven't done it again since.

Sweet! Yeah, I've just never even attempted a ton of people on my mini. The home unit would have zero hesitation with what they asked too.
