Well it was chilly at RXpizza, but I had fun because two of our own had tickets pulled!!!
Our own Astroag won the Springfield Saint.
And FSGuide had two tickets pulled!!! He won the Browning a bolt and the Winchester SXP!

I want to thank everyone who purchased tickets. It really is a great way to help the kids and maybe get a new toy!
Again thank you all so much!

I think he is right.

This year the raffle didn't do so well. I can tell everyone here that your chances are good because they never sell all the tickets. Past years we have done around 800 or so. We were well below that. My wife was doing a little math and said I sold a little over a fifth of the tickets. There just is no involvement from families. I talked to some good Ag's and some vets and have been compiling info from around the state. But if I cannot get the families to help we are spinning our wheels. You all here have been the lifeblood of this chapter, I mean it! Most of you have no ties at all and only hope to pull a ticket. But you have done so much more for these kids.

My son has decided he is enlisting in the Army and will not get any scholarship money out of this, he knows this program has given him so many skills. And even though the twists and turns good and bad through the last two years he has held his head high and made the best of it. FFA has saved him, and made him a better human being, and hopefully a better soldier. I liken it to any team sport. Thanks again everyone! It made my night hearing names off my list. And getting to deliver good news is always a blast. Trying to decide how much time I want to devote to the program not having any kids in it, but I still know some of the young ones. Maybe I help them sell tickets again or pass it along to someone that is in here and has kids in right now. We shall see.

Great Job Y'all!
