I never see much about Japan except for Tokyo and perhaps Mt. Fuji. Today I learned that they have a problem with bears. The article says that there have been ten fatalities so far this year! That seems like a lot of people for a country with a small landmass. The article goes on to say that thousands of bears are culled every year. That seems like a really high number to kill every year.
