I'm looking for recommendations from this board for a good UTV/SXS for my 6 and 9-year-old boys. We had four-wheelers and dirt bikes growing up, but my wife is pushing for something with roll bars. In my limited internet research, I keep seeing the Polaris Ranger 150 and the RZR (170 or 200). Is there anything else I should be looking at? As high as these things are, I would prefer to buy a used one in good shape.

Is anyone on the board looking to sell one? We are in Iola, and my wife and I both work in College Station.

I picked up a Polaris (I think 170) from a guy here for my kids to give them Christmas morning. Parked it at a buddies place and keep forgetting about it.

Can't say much about the rig yet as all I did was drive it off the trailer and park it. But I'm very excited to give it to them.

People will share their scary stories about them but if it was up to them no one would have pools or trampolines. Teach them how to use it safety and let er rip.

Thanks for the reply. That's what I'm hoping to do for Christmas as well.

My boys have a Polaris rzr 170. They drive it like I would drive a rental car. It has held up well. I bought used off of Facebook marketplace about two years ago.

I make them wear helmets & put seat belts on. They are not meant for pavement driving so don't run around on the road a lot. They top out at about 30 miles per hour which is plenty fast. Don't fully air up the tires as it will toss you around on rocky terrain & it won't corner as well with fully inflated tires (they tend to bounce to much). I road with each one of them until I was comfortable with their driving.

We have a green 2021 Ranger 150 efi for sale. Asking $5500 but are willing to make a deal. Due to the kids playing sports on the weekends, it hasn't been used much as it only has 47 hrs and 320 miles on it and they have out grown it. We live Katy but travel to our ranch in Milano often. If interested or have any questions, please text me at 2 8 1 two five zero 63 67.

Thank you. I think I have a lead on one right now, but I will send you a text if it doesn't work out.

My kids have a Ranger 150 EFI that about 3 years old now. Other than the battery dying, it's been very reliable. It needs to be on a trickle charger if it's not going to be driven for more than a week or so. I put a quick connect plug on the battery and the kids do a good job of plugging it into a Noco Genius 1 charger when they're done driving it.
