Any Aggies in the bull leasing business? I have about 8 cows that I need covered in Live Oak County..

We have used 2 Bar C Ranch in Luling in the past. Not sure if they lease anymore, but might be worth a call.

I've heard of it and considered it but never looked into cost to do. How do they charge?

You usually lease by the month. I have seen anywhere from $350 to $600 a month. Some might have 3 month minimums and some don't. Bull is trich tested before you get it and must be returned with a new clean trich test. Some are all inclusive and they do the testing for you and others you have to arrange the testing.

What breed are you looking for? If I don't have one, my buddy will.

Hereford (polled) or Red Angus. Would consider black as well. Cows are Brahman and Brangus with a couple of heifers (2 year olds).

Where are you located? I have a neighbor looking for a bull to breed some heifers?

Seriously Clark? I gladly let a chow hound bull go to a neighbor during the winter months to lend a helping hand. Do you not have a neighbor that can open his gate to help you out?

Currently none of my neighbors have bulls.
