I doubt even the better OB sleuths will be able to dig anything up, email addresses can be created so easily with such little info needed it's not likely there's anything that will be able to definitively track the guy.

Good on you for trying to run the guy down and I hate to kick another aggie when they're down, but there were so many red flags there, it should've been obvious. The first and foremost being the scammer emailed him for a different address than what you posted.

Unfortunately just take it as a learning experience, people only learn the hard way, it's kinda sad to read the scam thread on the ticket exchange, I can see why so many scammers exist, tons of people fall for stuff and they have a virtually endless supply of new targets…. Thieves suck.
