9 year old wirehaired griffon is randomly licking the air a bunch, and making weird stomach noises.

They are becoming less frequent, but are still fairly loud.

In googling it says it may just be something she ate... and not to take to vet unless she is laboring, diarreah, not eating, etc. Havent noticed that yet?

She did eat grass when I let her outside.

Should i take her in?

not a vet....worked for one back in the day and still good friends with them and many others

they always thought when a dog eats grass its supposedly to help settle their stomach. We've seen that with our dogs here and there over the years.

Our vet always advised when there's possibly upset stomach to feed very bland food...think boiled chicken and white rice. Can't hurt to only give a little at a time and wait a few hours to see how they do.

Also was advised that even if the dog throws up to just withhold food for 24 hours and see what happens. Of course, if there's blood in vomit or lots of diarrhea or black stool or bright blood in stool that those would be signs to get checked out.

Until dog throws up repeatedly (or some blood) or has really bad stool repeatedly, I tend to keep them home...no food....don't let gulp tons of water and see how they do before I rush off to the vet

Did this start recently? How long has it bee goin on? Is there anything else abnormal that you've noticed?
