I'm looking for something that knocks down the English lab oil stink. Furminator was my previous favorite but I feel it changed after Covid. The feed store shampoos also leave something to be desired.

Get a medicated shampoo with ketoconazole or miconazole and an ear rinse with the same ingredient.

I swear by Keto-hex shampoo. Leave on for 5 min and completely rinse off. Kills bacteria and yeast that make the smell. Safe to use weekly.

To add on to what Scotty said, make sure the dog doesn't have a skin or ear infection.

My vet recommends plain Dawn dishwashing liquid. After we switched to that, my beagles stopped smelling like Fritos.

Really? It's not too drying? I may try that.

I've always had good luck using these livestock water/scrub brushes. TSC used to carry them, but I didn't see any online. Really helps get down to the skin and separate all the hair.

Their skin and ears are fine, they just get stinky faster than I would care for lol. I do probably need to get a brush to really get in there. I will try some of these out-thanks!
