I don't know of anyone with the Horizon model but know another poster on here has a 16" barrel 7mm BC (because he stole my idea) but not sure he has shot with a chronograph. Maybe this bump will show it to him.

why do you want a BC? from the non-sponsored folks I've seen and read, it's not an especially accurate round.

I get 1/3 moa with mine...at least my gunsmith did (twice). I'm not the greatest bench shooter.

and the reason i bought it, is so that i could have the power of a magnum in a light weight gun (4.18 lb out of box, 7.5 lb with all accessories); the accuracy i'm getting was just a bonus.

Also, to answer op, I didn't get the horizon cause they had a 6 month backlog, but I'm getting 2700 fps with suppressed 16" bbl.

Aren't there lots of over pressure issues with this round? Admittedly, I haven't shot one myself but I have read this across multiple articles and heard the same on multiple YouTube videos.

Also, isn't Federal the only company manufacturing this round at the moment? Seems like it may be hard to find ammo if you forget your ammo at home and have to find some in a rural area in a pinch.

Not knocking this round, just what I have seen about it in my limited browsing about it.

If anyone is curious about learning more about the round listen to the Vortex Nation Podcast. They did three or four segments on it. They are definitely fan boys, but I'd expect that out of them. It's an awesome round.

There is a YouTube channel called WHOTEEWHO, and it is a guy in Tennessee who buys tons of rifles from different manufacturers and of different calibers, puts a decent scope on them and then tests them with different ammo and chronos them for all to see. Pretty interesting channel.

A couple of days ago he purchased a 7mm BC, I think maybe a Savage but not sure, so he should be testing it any day now and posting the video. He posts a video every day, but some are from a long time ago so you need to pay attention and make sure the 7mm BC is the latest.

EDIT: Today he is testing a cheap ass Remington 783 in 6.5CM. The 7mm BC should be in the next day or two.

I may or may not have purchased a rifle or three due to watching his videos. My last purchase with a Ruger Gen I 450 Bushmaster, and I watched a test he did and saw what ammo his shot well and purchased the same and the results were the same as his, which was one ragged hole at 100 yards. Shot a doe with it this year.

I'm curious about the specifics of your 4.18lb gun.

Another good rifle YouTuber is Mason Leather Outdoors. He does a lot of practical tests.
