Uh….if that fella can't figure out how putting a metal offset with fire in it attached might be bad for a smokehouse you built out of combustible materials, it might be that he should take up birdwatching.

Probably doesn't help that they have a can of something highly combustible, possibly deadly, in a spray can on top of it along with a lighter. I'm not seeing any ventilation either so anything smoked in there would taste like a tire fire.

This guy should have started with a file cabinet smoker and worked his way up.

I'm going to guess we're not looking at air-tight joinery with those boards, so it probably gets enough airflow between the boards.
