Are these worth anything? Some sound pretty good. Others not so much. These are my wife's grandfather's and nobody knows much.

Have some others too, but these one had some sort of markings.

I'm not sure if they are worth much. But, I've got a Sure Shot call from Groves that was also my grandfathers. It has got a lot of sentimental value for sure.

Not sure on value either, but if yall decide to get rid of them, let me know. I'll put them with my collection. I love old **** like this. My wife, not so much...

The Glynn Scobey is probably worth some money. Maybe little over $100-$150 the others are older calls but a lot were made of the Faulk brand so would probably go for around 20-40 a piece for the calls.

Some great old calls with a lot of life still in them.

This is a strange place to admit that. Have you talked to your wife? Maybe y'all can find a way to rekindle that flame?

Dont think youre striking gold with this set, but think duck calls are a cool thing to keep and pass down assuming you have kids that are in to hunting.

My first call was a Yentzen…my dad and grandpa had several. Being from the 409, I grew up thinking that calling ducks with anything else was sacrilege.

Used to love going with my grandpa to buy Faulks calls in person in Lake Charles. Hand made by the old man, in a backyard garage shop. By the early 90s, it must have been one of the last remaining remnants of mid century, old school duck hunting.

ETA: Just found a video from Faulks a few years ago. I didnt realize they were still handmade in Lake Charles. The fella in overalls is Dale Bordelon. Ive hunted with him on his place in Avoyelles Parish. Can confirm his accent is not just part of an online personality.
