How long do you want to ignore this user?

Local mexican grocery store used to carry them but don't anymore and local ranchers selling their beef direct to the public have no idea what they are. Will be checking with local butchers to see what can be done there.

In the meantime, any recommendations for a good source to have them shipped? Have found several online, but their pricing is ridiculous ($20++/lb plus shipping). Of course, beggars can't be choosers. Just hard to stomach when I know if I had an HEB nearby I could get them for <$5/lb.

And Merry Christmas to everyone!

Are you asking for "mojellas" or "mollejas"?
That might be your first problem.

Second, where are you located? Plenty of carnicerias here in San Antonio sell them.

Every Mexican grocery I've been to had them. They keep them frozen in the back

I buy them at the Spotted Trotter in Atlanta. They keep them frozen in the back.

Don't bother with HEB. Probably half the time I've bought from them, the smell ran us out of the house they were so bad.

I've never had an issue and never bought them anywhere else

Maybe Marble Falls HEB doesn't move them I don't know. But well within expiration date they have been bad.

Appreciate the lead. Looks like they only ship cured/dried meats. I am in the Atlanta area a couple of times a year so will have to keep them in mind.

In case anyone else is interested, I just stumbled across these folks who do ship and are by far the least expensive I have found so far ($8/lb, $12/lb after shipping).
