Depends on cost. If it's cheap and it covers labor then maybe. Also depends on how hard you use it. We use ours just for driving around our ranch and carrying feed and tools etc for the most part.
Expect to spend at least $750-1500 in the first few years on maintenance. We had the cvt go out after 3 years on our 2020, but luckily the replacement parts were only about $1000 with labor.
Runs better now than it did new.

On a side note, you may also want to consider a used one if you can find one that has been used lightly

Pretty good advice here.

This all boils down to intended use, in my opinion. Are you putting portals on it and throwing 34" tires on it? Are you keeping it mostly OEM? Are you duck hunting in it? Do you plan on running it on a rocky ranch and accumulating a lot of miles in a 5 year period?

My ranger is 5 years old and I bought the 3 year extended warranty despite knowing it probably wasn't worth it. I replaced the belt this year and had a brake position sensor start to go bad that I replaced for $15 and that's the only things I have had go "wrong". Despite being an avid duck hunter and also using it at a deer lease in the hill country.

Use the right gear (low most of the time), keep mud off the frame and metal components, and don't think your UTV is an amphibious vehicle and you should be fine. Most people that have problems with their UTVs of all makes, are due to self inflicted problems.

Agreed. We have a Kubota rtv diesel that's 15 years old and we've spent less than $3000 total in maintenance on it-including oil and filters. I like buying the parts and doing maintenance myself. Don't abuse them and they'll last a long time.
