What remote freezer alarm are y'all using to alert when power fluctuates / temps raise above normal? This would be for my shop and even garage residential style freezer with fish and wild game stored. Ideally wi fi enabled.

Same. We lost a freezer full of stuff out in the shop - that was painful. We now have several yolinks around the property: freezers, humidity one in the gun safe, moisture detector under the dishwasher, kitchen sink & laundry room. We also have one on our locked mailbox at the end of the driveway to notify us when mail is delivered.

My WiFi and garage freezers are on the same breaker and I don't really have another option. The good thing is my ring doorbell and other things alert me when WiFi is down so if it's a prolonged deal, I know to check freezer.

I have their leak detectors on my water heaters and you should only ever need one hub.

those with the yolinks in a freezer. Are you seeing good AA battery life in the freezer? I had a very early version of the govee device in a freezer and the cold temps seemed to zap batteries.

The govee I use sits outside the freezer and has a probe in the freezer with a flat wire. No issues with battery life. I had some little govees that went in the freezer that were pretty worthless. These outside the box ones are great.

I think I have replaced the batteries once in a year and half or so. I need to go back and look and see when I bought them to confirm

Friend of mine has a garage freezer on GCFI.

He plugs a radio into the same outlet and leaves it on.

If he doesn't hear the radio on in the garage, he checks for a tripped GCFI or breaker.

Doesn't help if you aren't home, but a good easy solution for day to day.

Lost a freezer due to GFCI tripping at my first house. Left a fan on outside and the sprinklers hit it. Removed the GFCI in the garage and replaced it with a regular outlet. When we listed the house I put the GFCI plug back in.

Now, the GFCI is also on the breaker, so I don't know if that works anymore.

When we built our current house, I had the builder install a larger plug with higher gauge wire and no GFCI specifically for my freezers.

I use the Mocreo system off Amazon. I've been very happy with it. Using it on 3 freezers.

I've had this for years, no issues.
