Has anyone fished out of Tamarindo inshore and/or offshore? Any recommendations on who to use to take us. We plan on going in mid June this summer. Looking for my 2 boys and I or add the entire family adding the wife and daughter. Appreciate the help.

We have been using a travel agent for the trip so far but wanted to get some ideas from experienced vacationers.

Capullo Sportfishing. Been with them twice and my brother has been out with them 5-6 times.

Best outfit in that area: https://capullo.com/

I have booked a few fishing trips with Steve and Lisa (H&W) of Go Fish Costa Rica (gofishcr.com) with great results. They are "brokers", for lack of a better word, and have relationships with most of the charter operators in the area. Very experienced and knowledgeable. They are based in the area and I met both as they checked on us etc. Honest from all I could tell and bent over backwards to help. I have no "link" to them. Good luck.

Been fishing out of Tamarindo/Flamingo over a dozen times now and have also done fishing trips out of other places on the west side of Costa Rica. Costa Rica is some of the best fishing in the world - great choice! What are you wanting to go for? Offshore is my favorite, but the rooster fishing is a blast too.

We always use Captain Skeet Warren and the Bushwacker. He was our captain for a Marlin U event years ago and not only was he a great teacher, but a really nice guy too. I always recommend the bushwacker team and have had many good reviews from others who have decided to use them too.

Looking forward to seeing some pics of your haul come June.

We went out with a guide from the marina at Flamingo.
It's a blast and if you can find the spinner dolphins you will destroy the yellowtail.
I had never seen anything like that and had no idea about that symbiotic relationship.
Very cool to witness and even better catching so many fish.
