What are some good place to fish without a boat in North FW area, open to outside that but just that is the area I'm in.

Been to Marine Creek Lake and tried some at some smaller ponds as well but trying to find new spots.

Use Google maps around you and go to wherever you find for private ponds. Dress like youre golfing if you go to a "residents only" fishing area

I'm not a fisherman but I came across a guy on facebook (videos) and he posts videos from various lakes, rivers, ponds in the Fort Worth area. One video I remember was from Benbrook Lake. Let me see if I can find the videos and his name.

Not really my neck of the woods but I know a bunch of dudes who catch monster carp on the fly in the Trinity all through town.

And scoff if you want but carp on the fly are fun as hell and can be really tough. They get spooky as hell and pull like a freight train.

Crappie should be running in the creeks over here in Ray Roberts ant time now.

Sand bass will be in the creeks soon. Head up 377 towards Denton, just south of town the river/creek feeding Lake Grapevine crosses. You can park and walk up and down the bank there and do well.
