Why does the mailbox look like it's 18"-24" tall?

Because that hog is a thousand-pounder!
People think I'm an idiot or something, because all I do is cut lawns for a living.

It's a grower, not a shower.

Unlike the US Postal service, this boar is depositing a full delivery... and on time I'll wager.

So there is a state wide big hog tourney going on for the entire month of Feb....first prize is $75,000.

Go sign up and go kill that thing.

Funny story. My family pot belly pig disappeared for a few months. We lived in the country so we assumed coyotes got her. One day she shows up with piglets following her. Got knocked up by wild pigs. Took the babies to the county fair a few weeks later and sold them. Not sure who thought hybrid wild hog pot belly crosses would make good pets but to each their own!

My previous job was managing the plant where most the wild pigs that are caught and sold in Texas go to enter piggy purgatory. We would regularly get a pot belly cross with the wild ones. We would average at least one a week. Unfortunately, they had to be dispatched and thrown away because we could only label and sell animals that meet the characteristic traits of a wild boar.

Obscure, useless fact for the day: Wild boar(hogs) will not "socialize" with a domestic or ~half-breed domestic hog in the same pen. We kept roughly 100 per pen and the non-wild animals were always segregated on the opposite end of the pen when the animals were not disturbed.

We have offspring of a feral with our potbelly. They are completely indistinguishable from feral pigs. You'd think they'd be neat or interesting. We castrated the boars and they are friendly and cool but they are nasty looking like a wild pig.
