Just finished my "SD at home" cause i can't buy the real thing!

Using the Novox Research X-SD ported barrel and CMMG 36K suppressor along with a Maxim Defense roller delayed buffer. Even keeps 115s subsonic. Fun shooter. Now to FRT it!

115 and 124 are high 900 to just over 1000fps. I bet 147s would be somewhere in the high 800s low 900s.

Blowback9 on YT tested 115 and 124 with some self admitted inconsistent loads.

Very nice. I have the itch to try something similar but with the Angstadt Arms Vanquish integrally suppressed barrel.

I really debated sending off my AP5-SD to get an actual ported barrel and turn it into a real SD instead of the K barrel under the handguard it ships with.

But its so dang quiet with 147s and the PTR Vent 2 that I haven't bothered yet.

I already stock 147s for other suppressed 9mm, and its easier to clean than a real ported SD.

I like your take on the concept too, OP. Neat gun.

Here's my AP5-SD with the gun that was designed to replace it (MCX in 300blk)

I've got the 22lr version sitting in ATF jail right now. Excited to test it out.

Wanted to add. The Stern Defense RAB-AD detachable buttock is a great alternative to the folders out there. Buffer and spring stay captured and attach detach just about as fast as flipping a folder. Fits better in a street bag than the folders as it doesn't double the width of rifle.

Just added the Atrius Super Selector and Stuff & Things CARL. SO FRT but with a 3-round limiter. So you get normal FRT for three round "super semi" reset and then you have a couple MM longer reset after third FRT. should be fun.
