Well he's gonna be disappointed with nothing to eat in that pool. Unlike the red tailed hawk that hangs around back there and destroys small birds and the occasional squirrel.

the top rock seems to be a safety hazard- may want to look into that as BLM

I watched a mockingbird just abuse a squirrel yesterday that was trying to get across a road. He kept zigging and zagging and the bird was not fooled once.

They make such a mess and are very noisy/annoying while nesting.

It's adjustable….

Idk, the pool came with the house and don't know why they left it loose. I guess to be able to redirect the waterfall slightly?

I see them in our neighborhood all the time---right at dusk (almost like their name was intentional). Frog eating machine

Yep. One a pair in our pine tree the past 2 or 3 years and the grass underneath the nest is always a mess. And when the babies hatch are really loud. Had two kicked out last year, one died before we saw it, the other we got and took to a recovery place.

I saw some building a next a week ago but they look to be gone now.

Same. They just casually stroll the sidewalks. Cool birds that will allow you to get pretty close. Really aren't skiddsih at all

Must be working, I'll bet there's not many frogs in that cement pond.

I bet there are frogs in that waterfall. We get them all the time in between the rocks in our waterfall. Our dog spends hours with her nose planted in between the rocks sniffing them out.
