Melissa and I have been traveling in Italy and we're spending our last few days in Rome. This morning we toured the Coliseum and as we were exiting I saw that some arsewipe had scrawled this on one of the stone columns, distinguishing himself and our beloved university.

I'm sure we have some handwriting experts on the OB who can track this idiot down.

Its actually much older than that. Believed to have been carved by Emperor Tiberius in 22 ce, it actually inspired the aTm logo we use today

Meh, just another carving on a rock.

The historical account is that the stone in the image was actually being carved on in the quarry by a peasant boy. The Roman's enslaved him and made him hew it and place it where it stands today. He did a poor job and he was then offered as entertainment and eaten by a lion. He was also not a good gladiator though he was the nephew of Maximus Decimus Meridius that we all know. His name was Jeff.
