Anybody know what the river near Comfort is looking like right now? Headed over today for my nephew's HS graduation (he's headed to A&M in the fall) and will have some time to kill tomorrow. Looking to take my boys and just do a little creek-sneaking with the fly rod and see what will bite.

Just because I'm teaching your boy to fly fish and he move to a more enlightened plane of existence than your goofy ass is no reason to get snippy.

Those flats boat guys are just all old bass fisherman that couldn't catch anything in fresh water.

the funniest ones are the guys who go on fly fishing trips specifically for tarpon every year but never seem to catch any!!

Welp, no fishing. Lots more rain with more to come so the river is blown out. It would have been pointless and with the river continuing to rise, borderline unsafe to try and wade.
That Sucks. Silver lining is the Guadalupe watershed needs the rain.
