Whatever it is has been chewing on some of my sheds for a few months. In Katy. I have plenty to spare indoors but I'm curious if it is squirrels or something else.

Rodents will gnaw on sheds and bones for calcium.

It's mice and rats. I had a pile of sheds at our ranch guest house outside for decoration. I never saw a squirrel, rabbit, coon, etc eat on them…..but every field mouse and pasture rat within ten acres seemed to eat on them constantly.
Our guest kids use to sit on the porch of the guest house and have fun with their BB guns!

Boat racing is like a beautiful woman.......expensive, high maintenance, but well worth the fun!

Very interesting. I don't have a game cam but might have to get one to see what's going on. Rat plinking would definitely be fun.

Back in the 60's we used to hunt pear rats with a bow and arrow.

At the old poultry science chicken houses (circa '83) we hunted rats with broomsticks and clubs after the Chicken closed. They gave the keys to the wrong guy.

I have a moose shed (got it in Wyoming) in my back yard. I noticed that something had been chewing on it. …looked out one morning and spotted the culprit - caught her in the act:

…a whitetail doe.
