Anyone have a recommendation or two? We are staying in Charleston and will be there first week of October. Probably a half day inshore. Open to fly fishing but not a requirement. Thanks in advance

Just got back last night. No fishing for me.
Holy Jeeze, there are a lot of mid 20's women in workout gear in that city. If I were in my 20's and had a couple dollars, that's where I would head. At least 2-1 ladies to guys ratio. Probably closer to 3-1.
And, if anyone wants a million dollar idea, go to Charleston and sell ultra expensive ladies workout gear. Find out whatever the most expensive brand costs and mark yours 20 percent higher. Higher some influencers and reality tv people to endorse and rake in the cash.

This guy put is on fish in some terribly hot conditions a few years ago. Worked his butt off.

First time there I take it?

Had I known about Charleston while younger, I would have 100% gone to grad school to the College of Charleston to find a wife.

Charleston is my favorite city....would move there in a heartbeat if I could...too bad I didn't know about it until my late 30's!!

Had our trip yesterday with Tide Down Sportfishing. Was quite the haul to get out to the Gulfstream here, but worth it. Caught tuna, Mahi, and a baracuda. Can get into the grouper and snapper without motoring as far out. Capt. Charlie is a fun dude and the deck hand, also fun, worked his tail off to keep us fishing! The Alex Willis 50 footer isn't the fastest boat at the marina, bit it runs well and the a/c cabin was a nice retreat from the sun. Would definitely recommend.

No fishing recs, but if you're looking for a spot to eat, you could do worse than Fleet Landing.

Love Fleet Landing. Great eye candy, good drinks and food. Get the she crab soup.
