Shoot me a PM with the details you have.
We have unfortunately had a number of clients get locked up (very briefly) for having a spent casing in their jacket pockets while crossing the border over the years. Luckily we have good contacts and they got out rather quickly.
I'll see if my contacts still have the same pull they did.

This board never ceases to amaze me.

It's really a beautiful country. Just have to play by their rules and not do anything stupid. Guilty until proven innocent down there.

There's a new thread on Texas Bowhunter of a 22 year old Texas Tech student they can't get out also. Hope they can both return safely and soon.

My apologies to the OP for my contribution to the derail here. I'm gonna reach out to another poster who's done this before - we can talk potential decals in a separate thread after a little brainstorming.

I'm curious. How do you 'forget' your registration when it's plastered to your windshield?

Only had to outline it if you were leaving the country. This was a long time ago, but I think it was just to certain countries.
Either way, dang sure made you think about your choice.
Fishing was great though...had armed protection the whole time.....although we assumed that they were with us by day and then with the Cartel by night. Whole long story to all of that. If you have ever fished Comadero with Ron Speed, you know the drill!

Did a similar bass fishing trip in that area. I'm pretty sure the Cartels are in on it, and get a cut of the "guide" fee. We were in a small chartered bus going through some really sketchy areas on the way to the lake. I remember noticing you had dudes on motorcycles with cell phones to their ear at every sketchy town we drove through. My assumption is they were monitoring safe passage.
