Have any of you heard of an issue with defective valve stems?
Just changed our 3rd flat on side of road.
Cheap Chinese crap plastic, cracks in half near the rim.

I bought new tires for car and truck at Sam's Club in 2024/2025. Since then I had a cracked valve stem in truck and two on wife's car.
Car is 100% on road, truck occasionally goes in pasture.

I'm going to just go get them all replaced. Calling Sam's in morning seeing if they'll own the issue.

What year vehicles? Are you sure they replaced them last time tires were changed?

I had this problem on a tractor tire. The tire shop replaced it with a metal valve stem. Maybe they can do that with your tires.

This. I have replaced every rubber valve stem on my trucks and tractors and mowers on the ranch with metal valve stems. Makes all the difference in the world if able to do that.

Good to hear it's an easy fix! I figured that was the case. I still remember a few things from my DTC days…

The one time I had an issue with a valve stem, one of our cars went through a local car wash with the wheel tracks and somehow the track sheered off the valve stem. That was a fun call to respond to.
