Sorry if there is another thread on this...I searched.

Anybody tried these and had any success for bass fishing? When they went on sale a month ago they were all the rage and sold out everywhere instantly. People were buying them just to turn around and sell them for 4X retail on ebay.

I've since stumbled upon a few at Academy in CS and apparently they fly off the shelves there as well.

$15 for a plastic seems pricey to me but I don't care as long as I can catch a few nice bass off of one. Seen plenty of instagram and YouTube videos of anglers saying bass can't resist them.

I went out a couple weeks ago during a full moon at midnight and caught an unexpected catfish with one on my second cast. A small one that swallowed it whole. Needless to say both were goners.

I've been trying ever since in a heavily bass populated lake that eat up senko plastics all the time and I have yet to have gotten a single bite on one of these.

Are these things legit and I just suck at fishing?

Disclaimer as I have not used it but I would say do not waste your money. Easy enough to catch bass on a lot of soft plastics cheaper than that.

I've got more colors of plastics than I know what to do with. But after watching videos it seemed fun to try something new that "bass have never seen before and can't resist".

I've tried fishing them semi wacky rig style with weighted nail through the center but to no avail.

It has been oddly slow out here recently but I'm still disappointed in the lack of results so far. Could be a combination of great marketing and/or pro anglers being paid to promote them but I was thinking surely they work.

I've still been catching pretty regularly on senko Texas rigged and on smaller swimbaits on jighead. But the bass don't want to touch these moebas I'm serving up for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Most every angler in last week's elite series were using them and catching bags! Lots of 6-8 lbers.
