My daughter as an Aggie freshman is breaking out for the first time in her life so need one for acne. Thnx!
Have her go to S/W care at Univ/hwy 6 and have a doctor look at her. If he/she think that your daughter needs to see a dematologist, he will give a referral. You can then go to the derm checkin on the second floor and often get worked in around scheduled patients but might have to wait an hour or so. W/o a referral, there's no chance.iisanaggie said:
Unfortunately, it is difficult to get in to see any specialists around here. My son got in to see one of Weaver's PA's in a much shorter time frame than Weaver. Try Childs Dermatology and see how fast they can get her in.
my 92 YO mother got an appointment for the next week with Dr. Garcia.CEAg78 said:
Dr Garcia at Weaver's office. Easier to get to and very competent.

Dr. Jason Weaver. He is the best
Most all specialists are that way. My cardiologist appointment is the end of next June. I guess to see anyone sooner you would have to either have a heart attack or fake one? As you did, people get on the list for appointments in case there's a cancellation.bobcat90 said:
Y'all weren't lying. Some are booked until April! I called at the right time bc there's a cancellation next week. Super expensive though and she'll be seen for 5 minutes i bet and get the rx.

Dr Weaver. But the other doc in his office is good as well. It's a really long wait for new patients, so if she is willing to see a PA, Caitlin is awesome and usually has a shorter wait time! (And if she can't figure it out, she grabs Dr Weaver). I honestly can't recommend Dr Weaver and Caitlin enough. I had a big issue during one of my pregnancies, and they got me in within 24 hours (as a new patient- my OB called them because it was a weird issue). I saw Caitlin, who was thorough and honest (said she was stumped, but said what she thought it might be). Within 5 minutes, she had Dr Weaver in my room checking it (who also said it was really weird). Did a scraping, and within 30-45 minutes of first walking in their office, I had a diagnosis, plan, and prescriptions to help fight a fungal rash I had all over my body (between my fingers, on my face, stomach, back, arms, legs feet, scalp- I had about baseball sized blotches EVERYWHERE). They continued to followup my whole pregnancy with both me and my OB (which limited what I could take), and after I gave birth, they hit it hard with high powered meds to finally clear it up. They really were fantastic, live up to the hype about them, and are 100% worth the wait in my opinion (and I have seen derms most of my life)
